I've started a campaign locally to contact every theater I can. I've emailed AMC, Cobb, Muvico and Regal Entertainment Group corporate contacts, asking (vern nonchalantly) how a theater determines which movies it picks before moving into a humble plea to add REPO! The Genetic Opera to their line-up for November. I even emailed the Tampa Theatre, asking them to inquire about REPO with their third-party distributor.
It might sound pathetic, but I'm hoping that sounding pathetic will induce some sort of pity on my behalf. Plus I'll be calling the theaters several times between now and November. I do NOT want that stupid Bond movie dominating the weekend.
I need REPO. I need it or I will explode. That happens to me sometimes. (gotta love the gir quote)
So I'm now sporting a REPO theme on my MySpace, I've added the repo groups as friends or become a fan of them on MySpace and Facebook. I troll the Repo Message Boards daily.

On the REPO site, there are two clips from the movie (so far) - "17" and "Zydrate Anatomy". Both make me more determined than ever to get this flick playing in FL. (Rumor has it that only NY and LA are slated to pick it up! Damn it!)
